2011 has been a brilliant year for Direct CONTROL with many new Clients coming on board and people saying wonderful things about the programme.

"When we took on Direct Control, we used the opportunity to overhaul our work practices. We decided to not only have the staff interacting with the program but also the doctors!  The idea was met with a little trepidation.  With Robyn’s exceptional teaching skills and enthusiasm we held some instructive training days and we had all the doctors and staff ‘logging in’ and skilfully navigating through the program in no time. We challenged everything we knew about [...] billing when we changed over to Direct Control, we restructured our work flow and the results have been remarkable."

Fee Schedules effective 1 November 2011

All fees are in effective 1 November 2011. Updating Fees does not replace 'old' fee schedules. The correct fee will be invoiced based on the Service Date.

NB: we do our best with the fees that are provided to us from the many organisations but it is up to our Clients to ensure that fees and fee calculations are correct.

Please note:

  • The new Q-COMP fees will not commence 1st November 2011 instead the new fees will be applicable from1st December 2011.
  • St Luke's fees are unchanged until 1 December
  • NSW WorkCover fees, even though based on the AMA Fee, do not change until 1 January 2012
  • Australian Health Management (AHM) as of 1 November are now with Medibank Private so when you have completed billing for procedures prior to 1 November for this Fund, go to Contact Management - Insurers/Companies and change the Fund Group to MBP
  • BUPA has merged all its member funds into a single entity. Ensure that the Entity BUPA Australia is added to Contact Management - Insurers/Companies. Members can still be billed under the other Funds (HBA, MBF, MBF Alliance, Mutual Community, NRMA, SGIC and SGIO) until they receive their new cards from BUPA. Ensure these other Funds have the Fund Group BUPA allocated to them.
